Bahar is passionate about being a facililator for others on their journey to self-healing and reconnection with self. My journey really accelerated after having my first child, when as a baby he had issues like eczema and digestive problems/allergies, and unsatisfied with the issues steroid creams could cause, I explore treatments of homeopathy, naturopathy and nutrition and I was determined to find a solution to his problems. Through the process of giving remedies, herbs and changing diet and lifestyle, his eczema and digestive issues cleared, his health improved, his behavior improved and I started to see the boy I knew was under all those layers of toxicity come back to life and become more ‘himself’. I too benefited from the changes in lifestyle and noticed the triggers to some of the issues i had since childhood, seeing the connections between holistic living and better more connected health in the body.
Most recently, i suffered from inflammation in the spine and was told it was up to me to get back to normal and there was nothing that medical professionals could do for me, so i set myself the challenge of using all the holistic modalities i know and physical exercise, not accepting the 'disability' label and working everyday towards my goal of total health. The process has not been easy or fast, but i have gained immense wisdom from the experience and discovered more tools to empower myself and others. BodyTalk has been an indispensable tool towards this goal, alongside mindful meditation and movement.
Healing isn't always linear, and its useful to know that layers of an issue may be explored not once, but multiple times, especially if you consider how long it takes to create an issue.Sometimes it requires some commitment to resolve.
Compassion, acceptance, patience, stillness and detached observation are some of the more subtle but extremely powerful gifts one can gain from a deeper issue, and these are often not taught to us as we grow up, but important skills to navigate the choppy unpredictable waters of life.
My sincere hope is to inspire others to see themselves in this different light not as imperfect beings with many issues, but of 'beings of light' having an experience of multiple levels to remember that they have 'many facets to their diamond' and each one adds an opposite siddhi or gift as the facet is polished to see it for 'what it is' rather than for what it may appear superficially. We may not remember that we chose to have this experience on some level, we are not victims unless we see ourselves that way.

BodyTalk and Sekhem
BodyTalk and Sekhem which are Energy Healing modalities which interested me, and seeing how people shift when one works on the energy bodies instead of just focusing on the individual components of physical body interested me the most, because its only a part of the jigsaw. Disease never comes into the physical first, it starts on the energy body level and manifests in the physical after a period of time. The emotions and the subconscious play the largest part, and you can work on the physical all you want but if you don’t work on those other parts the disease keeps coming back in different ways until you get to the ‘root’ of it. This is what Sekhem and BoyTalk does, it works on clearing things at a much deeper level so that the shift is deeper and the core problems and beliefs are shifted. It assists the individual in finding direction and motivation to do this, and
I have seen people completely change their outlook about themselves, their lives , this gives me the biggest satisfaction, to see people grow and ‘flower,’ to be part of their journey. Also often we don't see these issues in ourselves unless we are really working on ourselves at a higher level, and my meditation practice has assisted me to see my patterns and beliefs and make changes, accepting myself and others more than i did before. If you can't accept yourself as you are, you will not be able to accept the reflection in the mirror or any person that comes into your life. The first and most important step is self acceptance, followed by a desire to then unfold a better reflection of yourself.
BodyTalk works on getting the 3 brains communicating better and each fulfilling their role. You may not see the heart and gut as a brain but research now shows that they are as important if not more than the main brain. When their roles are not clear, or they have been shut down by environmental stressors or emotions, they can't fulfil their roles and the head brain may try to do it all. This is a huge problem for many people who may not be able to make the right decisions anymore because the brain is not supposed to do it all. Discernment comes from the small intestine as known by Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years. The heart also has the wisdom of the many experiences held and can draw from this if it is open. (for more information/topics on BodyTalk see blog)
Often getting these brains operating as intended takes time and clearing the blockages that they have. This is when the innate wisdom and intuition of what is right comes back on and one is no longer seeking answers outside constantly. With information overload today, this is so so important and crucial to humanity being the wisdom keepers and custodians of the earth. One only has to look around and see evidence of disconnection between people, as well as within themselves, but it can change.
Many believe that conscious awareness originates in the brain alone. Recent scientific research suggests that consciousness actually emerges from the brain and body acting together. A growing body of evidence suggests that the heart plays a particularly significant role in this process.
Compared to the electromagnetic field produced by the brain, the electrical component of the heart’s field is about 60 times greater in amplitude, and permeates every cell in the body. The magnetic component is approximately 5000 times stronger than the brain’s magnetic field and can be detected several feet away from the body with sensitive magnetometers.Research in the new discipline of neurocardiology shows that the heart is a sensory organ and a sophisticated center for receiving and processing information. The nervous system within the heart (or “heart brain”) enables it to learn, remember, and make functional decisions independent of the brain’s cerebral cortex. Moreover, numerous experiments have demonstrated that the signals the heart continuously sends to the brain influence the function of higher brain centers involved in perception, cognition, and emotional processing.
Basic research at the Institute of HeartMath shows that information pertaining to a person’s emotional state is also communicated throughout the body via the heart’s electromagnetic field. The rhythmic beating patterns of the heart change significantly as we experience different emotions. Negative emotions, such as anger or frustration, are associated with an erratic, disordered, incoherent pattern in the heart’s rhythms.

I have had to work on myself to 'unschool' and remember how to find answers for myself. Our schooling systems don't allow us to develop our right brain capabilities which is very important. Creative work allows the conscious mind to be busy and I find painting energy infused paintings, singing enriches my soul and assists my connection to my essence and soul purpose of bringing light and raising the vibration of myself and others around me. The most elemental state of vibration is that of sound. Everything has an optimum range of vibration (frequency), and that rate is called resonance. When we are in resonance, we are in balance. Every organ and every cell in our precious body absorbs and emits sound with particular optimum resonate frequency. 432hz and 528hz tuned music creates resonance in our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body.
All of this helps tune one's inner GPS to be an independent thinker, relying on ones own intuition and self enquiry to make decisions instead of anyone else's. The body is intelligent, self-healing, self-regulating and seeks homeostasis. Less is more in terms of food, stimulation, and this can be a challenge in todays world. Manual therapy and BodyTalk's goals are to remove the barriers of muscle, fascia, joint lesions, beliefs and emotions that could be interfering with the self-healing and self-regulating. By creating a better environment, flow is improved.
I know as well as anyone that its easy to escape the body when there is trauma-we don't want to experience it so parts of our souls leave, but we need to know that we are living in these bodies so we need to address the difficulties they face and release them. Energy work and bodywork go hand in hand for this and neither can be ignored.
